8.8Great
everything about The Fenix Porto is first rate - the suites are huge commanding fine views . We have stayed there 3 times in the last 18 months and when we visit Porto again we will be back there. the bar offers excellent value for money and the breakfasts are among the best on the Iberian peninsular
Food in the bar area could be improved

9.6Perfect

10.0Perfect
I don't think that it would be possible to find such high quality hotel for this price. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. I would go back to Portugal for two reasons: Cintra, which is an amazing city and this hotel, cheap but one of the best hotels ever.
I didn't like that I was there for just one day
-
7.8Very good
The hotel was good, it reflected its 4 star status. Reception, restaurant and bar staff first class.
-
9.2Perfect
The hotel is light and airy. The front staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was large with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom and loads of hot water. Breakfast was good (I have to say the coffee machine in the breakfast room made the greatest coffee - more hotels should have one !!

The parking area is a little narrow.
-
6.2Nice
The staff were superb. The friendliest & most helpful staff I have encountered in many years.
The beds were very hard - like sleeping on granite.

10.0Perfect
Great value for money. Spacious rooms, place for baby-cot and the 'living- room' area. Really worth of stay-in. Near the hotel metro Casa da Musica and 30sec. Bus stop to the Porto historical area.

9.6Perfect
A very clean and comfortable hotel, ideal base when on business.

7.0Very good
I had booked a business class room....room was huge with bedroom separate from a sitting area. My room key allowed me to get the elevator to go nonstop from lobby to my floor and vice versa. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Spoke excellent english. Business class room price was good value for money.
Bathroom relatively small and cramped compared to the rest of the room...very narrow bath not easy for someone over 70 to get in and out. Also the hotel had no real dining facilities...restaurant consisted of a sushi bar...not everyone eats sushi...hotel shared a restaurant with the HF Fenix hotel next door....had to leave the hotel, walk outside and go next door for a meal..(lunch and dinner). Not very convenient...luckily it did not rain while we were in Porto.
